SFCC Members Holiday Tournaments

St. Francois Country Club will become your Holiday destination for Golf, Fun, and Food starting in 2011. Following on the heels our very successful Fourth of July Celebration Party last year, we are adding 3 new fun Golf Tournaments & Dinners to the schedule for this year. The golf format is designed to include golfers of every age and ability. Sign up to play and the Club will assign you to a mixed sex scramble team (but never one that also contains your spouse) selected to field foursomes of equalized team skills you will have a chance to make new friends.

A 1:00pm shotgun start will get us all finished in time to partake of one of Dina's delicious buffet dinners. Mulligans and skins will be available and hole prizes will also be awarded. All cash prizes will be awarded to the winners during dinner. For those not participating in the golf tournament, the pool will be open all day, the tennis courts will be spruced up for our tennis players, and even a crochet tourney may be scheduled. On July 4th we will finish eating in plenty of time to relax outside (bring your lawn-chairs) and watch the best fireworks show in St. Francois County. Reserve the dates on your calendar now:

Activities for Memorial Day Weekend 2011

Saturday May 28th

Member/Guest or Member/Member Tournament (18 holes). The format will be a 4 ball, each player plays their own ball and the team uses the best score on the hole for the team score. Shotgun start at 10:00 AM with a Skins Game. $20 a person--$40 a team

Sunday May 29th

Four-Person Scramble club members only (18holes). All participants sign up each player will be assigned a team. The teams will be made up of golfers of all skill levels, male and female, young and old, everyone is encouraged to participate. This will be a great event and an perfect opportunity to meet some new people. The cost will be $10 per participant. Shotgun start at 1:00 PM.

Monday May 30th

Members only Couples Scramble. Entry Fee $20 per team. Skins game included in entry fee. Shotgun start at 1:00 PM
